Construction of the platform of the Madrid-Extremadura-Talayuela-Cáceres high-speed line, the Cañaveral-Embalse de Alcántara stretch in Cáceres.

The most important elements of this stretch are the viaduct over the Regato del Cuervo (158 m) with the channel section prestressed in situ, the viaduct over the Vía de la Plata (114 m) of prestressed concrete slabs, and the viaduct over the Tajo river (1,488 m) which, with its longest span being 324 m, is the largest bridge built to date by 60 m, making it the largest concrete railway arch bridge executed in Spain.
