Grupo Copisa Awarded MC Mutual “Antonio Baró” Prize for Prevention of Occupational Hazards

Grupo Copisa has been awarded the MC MUTUAL “Antonio Baró” Prize for the Prevention of Occupational Hazards. This, the sixth outing of the awards ceremony, was presided over by the Catalonian regional government’s Minister for Employment, Mar Serna, and the Social Security Development Director at the Ministry for Employment and Social Affairs, Miguel Ángel Díaz Peña. Grupo Copisa was given the award for extending the management of its preventative measures to cover not only its own companies but also its subcontractors, whom it audits. All the actions implemented by the Group have led to a 72.88% reduction in rates of absenteeism over the last three years, achieving figures 80% below the sector average in 2006.
