The hospital will have 185 beds (of which 35 will be intensive care units), 38 consultancy rooms and six operating theatres. For their part, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) underlined that this hospital would strengthen the capacity of the emergency and specialist services, pointing out that the new health centre will directly benefit 57,000 residents in the district of Ate, as well as the entire eastern area of Lima. The health care centre is being built on an area of 20,036 m2 and will require an investment of 157,394,047.16 PEN (Peruvian Nuevos Soles).
