The construction work will be executed in the plot adjacent to the current Maçanet de la Selva wastewater treatment plant located in the Puigtió industrial estate. The plot is delimited to the south by the rest of the agricultural plot, to the east by the La Torderola stream, to the west by Carrer de l’Indústria and to the north by the current Wastewater Treatment Plan.
Deviation of the affected courses: conditioning of the land by diverting the interception of the three existing courses on the plot to be built on (two basins/canals and one irrigation canal).
Water line: the two inlet manifolds (polygon Ø400mm and urban area Ø630mm). Inlet works (screening chamber and bypass, wastewater pumping separated into two chambers and flow measurement). Pre-treatment (automatic coarse material collection channels, automatic collection channels, grit separator-grease remover closure, outlet bypass). A distribution box with a reactor tank. Two biological reactors (2 lines). Decanter distribution chamber. Two secondary decanters (2 lines) Source of treated water. Outlet flow measuring tank. Work on the outlet for the treated water to Torderola stream. New pipes and connections between the previous elements. Assembly of mechanical and electromechanical equipment as well as control systems.
Sludge, flotation, drainage and emptying lines: recirculation, purging and floating in the secondary decanting process. Gravity thickener (1 line). Sludge dehydration facility. Transfer of dehydrated sludge with spiral conveyor to storage silo (1 unit). Brand new conduits and their connections between the elements and different facilities. Mechanical and electromechanical equipment for sludge treatment.
Reagent, air and deodorisation lines: Control facility and treated water tank. Industrial building (spraying room, electrical room, generator room and sludge dehydration room and polyelectrolytic preparation equipment). Air conduits and connections from the spraying facility to pre-treatment and biological reactors. Storage and application of ferric chloride. Transfer and connection of application of ferric chloride dosage to the reactor outlet manhole. Deodorisation equipment. Transfer and connection of the deodorisation to the thickener, dehydration facility and sludge silo.
Electrical installations, automation and control, ventilation and air conditioning: grounding installation for protection of the elements. Extension of the current power supply. New duct bank for passing through installations, wiring and connections with each element. New motor control panel (MCC) and auxiliary panels. Operation control equipment. Installation of interior and emergency lighting in buildings. Ventilation and air-conditioning of building rooms.
Urbanisation, auxiliary services, gardening and finishes: new plant access. Roads. Service water network and cleaning connections, with pumping machinery, filtration and chlorine disinfection. Drinking water network and connection to current connection. Rainwater networks. Lighting network. Road paving and footpaths. Perimetral closing. Gardening and irrigation.
