Copisa lands contract to build sewers and storm-water tanks at the Badajoz wastewater treatment plant, Spain

Construction firm Copisa has been awarded the €13.9 million contract for the construction of sewers and storm-water tanks at the Badajoz wastewater treatment plant. Specifically, Copisa is to upgrade the sewer on the left bank of the Rivillas-Calamón, build a new one on the left bank of the River Guadiana, and construct two storm-water tanks with a capacity of more than 20,000 cubic metres to store rain water before it is treated. The entire project of the Ministry of Agriculture has a budget coming to €31.6 million.
