The new storm drain has a capacity of 16,000 m³, equivalent to 4 Olympic swimming pools, and is the twelfth installation of this type in the city of Barcelona, making it now the foremost European city in the available volume of storm drains to protect the rivers, beaches and coastal areas of the city.
